A bowling we shall go (if we have to)

Our grouping into small teams coincides nicely with the end of the financial year; a perfect excuse to have a bowling night. Just our department, with one game in our new teams and one in teams of our choice. Well, that was the intention.

A neighboring department thought it was such a great idea that they decided to join in. And my team gets the privelege of bowling with the company's least favourite person... Well, what's left of my team, anyway. It seems that the addition of a few people to the game of bowling made some people feel that... well, let's say they felt that their presence was no longer required.

After the bowling...

Now I'm sitting in some place called BBNT (Burgers, Burritos, Nachos, Tacos) in South Yarra. I had to wait for my train at Prahran just so I could travel one station, then wait another 14 minutes at South Yarra. If I had accepted a lift with you-knnow-who [1], I may have got an earlier train, but I just couldn't face it.

The overall night was good (and would have been excellent with our original grouping). The atmosphere was better than a normal AMF bowling place, the finger food was great and the good service meant we didn't have to go to the bar.

[1] I'm starting to sound like the people in J K Rowling's world when they refer to Lord Voldemort.
