Do you think I'll get a response? Let me rephrase that; do you think I'll get a satisfactory response?

Subject: Faulty CD: Jet - Get Born

Hi there,

I just bought the Jet album, Get Born, on CD. I've been looking forward to getting it, but it doesn't work. :-( My iMac's CD drive seems to have a mini heart attack - it keeps whirring and failing to read the CD. I have to restart the computer to be able to eject the CD.

I can't see any scratches on the CD, so I'm guessing the problem has something to do with the copy controlled logo on the back of the CD cover.

I'll return the CD, but that leaves me without the album... Where can I find a normal CD of Get Born so that I can successfully add it to my iTunes music library on the iMac?

good luck! I hope that they are able to help, butsomehow I don't think so :(

Well, all I really want is to put pressure on EMI to remove copy controls that punish legitimate customers but fail to prevent copying by the file-sharers that they are targeting.

As for the music itself, I'll find a way to get it working... :-)
