Not coping (workload)

My in-tray is growing at an unmanageable rate and it seems the only time I can get to a task is when someone contacts me to ask why it hasn't been done yet. To add to that, a particularly antagonistic sales rep has just sent the courteous message "this may be a stupid question, but why has it taken so long to ?"

Have music on to block out distractions, but it's not helping lower the stress like it should.
