You can never deal with the whole message as one block of text. For various reasons, I want to be able to see or copy both the body and the headers. Imagine I want to paste To, Cc, Subject, Date and From somewhere, along with the message body. To achieve this in an actual email program, I just select the text and copy. Simple! To do this in Outlook, I'd have to copy the message body, then right click the message, click Options, select the full headers, copy, paste, then trim out the unwanted headers...
