"I'm sure no one would mind if I go down for a moment..."
An excerpt from the play I'm in:

Me: Every day for the last five years, except on weekends, I have hidden in the bushes and watched you on your way to work and home again. My name is Lance, and I love you Ruby.

Her: How do you know my name?

Me: Why is it that after I told you all that, you question how I know your name?

I'm gonna have trouble saying that line without cracking up...

oh i love that line :)

Getting practice to stalk sombody are you? :)

No, my stalking days are over. Just heartily amused by the matter-of-fact observation that a psychotic stalker named Lance is obviously going to know her name.

Director's slight alteration: "Every day for the last five years, except on weekends and public holidays..."

Please tell me that's from the film within the play. Please?

Oh yes. I couldn't handle it if it were serious...

It's not for the filmed scenes for The Bridge (the drama), but one of the film rehearsals within No Rules (comedy), in which the cast is dealing with an ever-changing script and the socially inept assistant writer with the bad jokes (me) writes himself into the part of the psychotic killer, who later turns out to be an immigration official.

You'll have to practice Joey's "smell-the-fart" acting. "JOEY: It's like, you got so many lines to learn so fast, that sometimes you need a minute to remember your next one. So while you're thinkin' of it, you take this big pause where you look all intense, you know, like this." That should also be handy if you need to collect yourself. I could have used that in Peril on the High Seas (see, I got your title reference).
