I once sent an email to someone and they read the whole message. Their reply clearly indicated that they had read it. There was no "when will foo be ready?" in reply to my original message which was mostly about foo...

It happened so long ago, that I can't remember who it was that was smart enough to read the message before replying. If I knew who it was, I could have asked him/her to train the person who sent me this:
