Newbie regexp question. If I'm looking for "foo" at the start of the line, with something like this:

$found = "1", if /^($item):text/i;

...is perl smart enough to stop searching if the first letter…

Ironing board woes (again)
Metal frame and mesh? All of the models I have seen for sale use a metal frame and mesh, and in theory it should work well. The problem is that the manufacturers are incompetent and use flimsy mesh…
