Measures of success

The general consensus is that Romeo And Juliet is better than last year's production of The Taming Of The Shrew. The director is certainly happier with it. My measure of success is that there are fewer things that piss me off. If things are not interpreted correctly, it grates each time I hear it; this year there are only about three things that do this.

Public key cryptology

Everyone should be taught about digital signatures, encryption and OpenPGP starting around year seven. The fact that there are still internal processes (working at an ISP) that involve printing a document and signing it, then faxing it is incredible.
