For the uninitiated, It's Academic is a quiz show where three nerdy-looking kids from each of three schools, mostly private, dress in school uniform and answer questions on afternoon television. It's not quite Bible Quiz, but the fact that that's what it reminds me of should give you an idea of how different this show is from commercial television's regular fare for kids.
(This is what happens to my media diet when the office kitchen has a television on 24 hours a day.)
