Bad Boy Blogger: test basic functionality in Opera!

Your message will appear in Something Is Broken of Blogger Help Group momentarily.
I don't want it to appear momentarily. I want it to appear for long enough that some Blogger developers will read it and actually fix the problem. Surely if the Blogger team is too busy, lazy or stuck up to fix it, some other Google developer could do it in their 20% time. All I'm asking for is the ability to post comments to people's blogs...

My annoyance comes from the apparent disconnect between Google's stated love of open standards and the way they actually operate. (cf. Google's internationalisation efforts versus their use of the American-centric usage of "momentarily".) Yes, Firefox is a great browser, but developing specifically for it is topsy turvy: you should structure your content, add functionality, then keep improving: haven't you heard of "progressive enhancement"? Even with the old "graceful degredation" approach, basic functionality should still work regardless of browser.

On the subject of Google developers and Blogger: a little OpenID support would be nice, while you're at it. Oh, and stop deepening the identity silo, and open up Google Book Search to share with the Open Content Alliance. Cool, thanks.
