I'm doing a clean-out of some old stuff and have come to the folder of memories. I no longer need printouts of RFCs. To be honest, I probably didn't need them back then, either, at least not beyond an initial read.

Along with the RFCs, there are other goodies, like the BIND config manual, notes on mail transport; I can't believe I had forgotten all about UUCP and how we actually had customers using it!

All must go. But there is one thing I cannot part with – not yet, anyway. I'm keeping my DNS training notes, including my "Bad Zone File" sheet, challenging people to spot eight errors. (And no, the serial of 2023082502 is not one of them.)

Yes, I'm a hoarder. But I like this little blast from the past. Training slides written and printed in plain text. These days, I wouldn't even be able to find a projector on which to place the transparencies...
